The receiver does NOT have the wooden side panels but was serviced and cleaned at the shop it was purchased from. There is a small chip on the lower front right of the receiver but is otherwise in amazing condition.  Has seen very little use since it was purchased at the music store and needs a good home.  Truly a beast and iconic piece and among the best of the 1980's receivers ever made
