My story
Tabitha is looking for that certain special Foster-to-adopt home!! She wants to get to know her furrrever home slowly while under the advisement of her rescue humans as a nearly blind kitty. We learned that she can likely only detect some light, but not shapes. She may have had a small ulcer rupture in the past that healed up blocking her cornea from view in her remaining eye. She also has an entropion eyelid. She is cute, friendly and playful, and she gets around wonderful like any other kitty except for some delay in smelling and feeling new objects. She will be on eye ointment for the next few weeks a few times a day so bonus if you are home a lot! She will be scheduled for a future surgery to help keep her comfortable but it is a decision we would prefer to make with her furrrever home involved.
If you would like to see if she fits in with your home, please fill out our questionnaire here and we will discuss details further and see if it may work for you to join us in rescuing a very special 5 months old kitten, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped: https://forms.gle/uyJyHseSDry3w1DK8
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Tabitha, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
